BoxedCat Productions is looking for an experienced Edinburgh Fringe Producer to help put on their new play 'Rainbow' (working title) at the Edinburgh Fringe 2012

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong talent for pitching and marketing in order to secure a high profile fringe venue and to work with the artistic director over the coming months to raise funds and bring the play to fruition for July/August 2012

 A new play by Emily Jenkins (currently on the Royal Court Young Writers Program) that follows the lives of three seemingly unconnected men as they struggle to understand their place within the world.  

The play embraces the brutality of the mundane and our constant quest for understanding both of ourselves and our place within the universe. 

Three men with very different backgrounds and stories live their lives totally oblivious to the fact that their decisions and actions will not only change their own perspective of the world, but will also have a direct and devastating affect on the lives of each other.  Funny, Dark, sometimes violent, and with a Spiritual Twist, the play takes the form of three interweaving monologues. 

Running time: an hour and a half

Commitment: Part time

Start date: immediate - pitching and applications to venues

Payment: Profit Share or fixed fee - to be discussed at interview
